Marlene and Georges Belfort Receive Honorary Doctorates

The University of Cape Town’s “Golden Book,” which features the names of luminaries such as Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela, and Barack Obama, has now added UAlbany Distinguished Professor Marlene Belfort of Biological Sciences and her husband, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Professor Georges Belfort of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
