2025 Life at the Interface of Science and Engineering lecture

Students and faculty from the departments of Biology and Chemistry and the RNA Institute recently traveled to Boston on February 14th 2025 to attend the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, where Nobel laureate Phil Sharp delivered the 2025 "Life at the Interface of Science and Engineering" lecture — a yearly event endowed by UAlbany Professor Marlene Belfort and her husband, RPI Professor Georges Belfort. Students had the opportunity to mingle with scientists from other fields and forge new connections with RPI researchers.
